Improving water quality and human health through the 'One Health' approach; encouraging communities to participate in protecting public water and sanitation facilities, and promoting a balanced and sustainable environment.
Many communities face challenges in maintaining clean, accessible, and well-maintained public drinking water and sanitation facilities. These challenges can increase public health risks, reduce community well-being, and weaken environmental sustainability.
Promoting clean, safe, and well-maintained public drinking water and sanitation facilities, and encouraging regular maintenance of public drinking fountains to provide safe and accessible drinking water for everyone.
Collaborate with local governments and water authorities to improve the maintenance of public drinking water facilities: regular inspections of public drinking fountains; routine water quality testing; registration and scheduled inspection of aging water pipes; timely maintenance and infrastructure improvements.
Establish a community volunteer program to support environmental health and public awareness: observe and report sanitation issues; monitor the condition of public drinking fountains; participate in community clean-up events; educate residents about the One Health approach and environmental responsibility.
Working together with a holistic health approach, let’s build safe drinking water and sustainable healthy communities
